The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) and Sesame Workshop, the nonprofit educational organization behind the iconic television series, have signed a three-year partnership to teach children about road safety, waste management, and public safety. The event was graced by Sesame Street characters Elmo and Cookie Monster.
