MMDA General Manager Frisco San Juan, Jr. today personally supervised the clearing operations in Baclaran amidst heavy rains. Obstructions including illegally-parked vehicles and sidewalk vendors were removed by members of the agency's Sidewalk Clearing Operations Group and Task Force Special Operations. San Juan said the MMDA will conduct regular clearing operations on all Mabuhay Lanes to ensure that alternate routes for EDSA are passable and obstruction-free.
