MMDA Chairman Benhur Abalos inagurates the agency's first-ever Solid Waste Granulator and Brick-making Facility at Vitas Pumping Station in Tondo, Manila. These facilities will convert solid wastes into by-products such as bricks, eco-hollow blocks, eco-concrete barriers, and bio-waste compost materials. Both of the facilities are part of of the Metro Manila Flood Management Project aimed at improving flood management in selected areas in the metropolis.
