MMDA Welcomes New Acting Chairman
The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) welcomes the appointment of Engineer Carlo Dimayuga III as the new Acting Chairman of the Authority.
President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. signed Dimayuga’s appointment last August 1. He took his oath of office before Executive Secretary Victor Rodriguez on Wednesday, August 3.
“The MMDA welcomes Engr. Dimayuga as its new Acting Chairman. The agency believes that with his instinctive understanding of operations and managerial perspective, he can steer MMDA towards delivering better basic services to the public,” said MMDA Flood Control and Sewerage Management Office Director Baltazar Melgar, who served as the agency’s Officer-in-Charge since July.
Dimayuga passed the Civil Engineer Licensure Examination in 1997 after studying Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering at the University of Sto. Tomas.
He finished both his secondary and primary education at Lourdes School Quezon City in 1987 and 1991.
